1.  Packaging Line

Aloi just completed a major packaging line for an upstate beer manufacturer.  This project consisted of 4 separate case conveyance lines coming from different parts of the facility all converging to 3 palletizers.  All 3 palletizers discharge to a common pallet conveyor which leads to a Wulftec 175 stretch wrapper with 5 zones of accumulation.  This new system significantly increased the efficiencies which allowed for greater throughput at the plant.

2.  Tandom Wulftec Stretch Wrappers

A major upstate grocer has recently installed 5 tandom Wulftec stretch wrappers.  these new units have made a significant improvement in areas such as:

        • Productivity
        • Loss time injuries
        • Damaged loads during shipment
        • Film savings

3.  New Distribution Center

A major food distributor entrusted Aloi to recently turnkey their new refrigerated warehouse which included more than 10,000 pallet locations.

4.  Specialized Lifting Equipment

Eastman Theatre: The recent renovation project for the Eastman Theatre included one very specialized and delicate lifting project.  The priceless chandileer that is the centerpiece of the theatre required a new lift that would raise and lower it for both cleaning and service.  Aloi was selected for this very publicized project where there was absolutely no room for error.  For more details of this project and the 2010 grand opening, refer to the Rochester Business Journal article from October 2, 2009.

5.  Double Girder Crane and Gorbel Workstation Crane Project

Valve Actuator Manufacturer: Aloi has supported this Rochester based company for many years and was recently chosen to install multiple cranes and workstations at their new Houston, TX based manufacturing facility.  Though there were many alternate suppliers based in Houston to choose from, Aloi was chosen because of their expertise and committed service.  Project scope: Two 7.5 ton double girder top running cranes, four Gorbel workstation cranes, and three jib cranes.

6.  Ergonomic Manipulating Equipment

A Rochester based supplier to the auto industry chose Aloi to design and build specialized ergonomic manipulators that would help streamline manufacturing and eliminate loss time injuries.  In total, four different manipulators were designed capable of handling products ranging from 50 to 450 pounds.  Each of these manipulators were required to safely maneuver the parts in the x, y, and z planes while also allowing the part to be rotated during operation.
