Installation Team Trains for Your Safety
Aloi Material Handling is very committed to the safety of our employees. And, every precaution is taken to minimize the chance of on-site accidents to ensure the safety of your employees. This commitment is backed by a serious investment in safety training as well as documenting proper installation procedures in our Aloi Loss Control Program/Safety Manual.
For example, our installation team recently completed the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) construction outreach safety awareness training course. The 10-hour course covered:
- hazardous communication equipment
- personal protection equipment
- fire protection and prevention
- electrical safety (including lockout/tagout)
- fall prevention
- confined space awareness
- hot work (welding, cutting & burning)
- hand and power tools
- elevated work
This intensive training course is already a requirement for contractors working at Kodak, Xerox, Mobil and many small/mid-size companies. We expect in the future that more companies will soon mandate this training for outside installation teams.
Our installers have also attended a two-hour asbestos awareness training course. They all must be certified for Powerlift truck and Manulift operation (self-propelled elevating work platforms). Aloi installers routinely attend many health and safety training programs provided by our customers, including Kodak, Mobil, 3M, Olin Chemical, Monroe County and Mentholatum General Works.
If you have specific corporate safety requirements, please let us know in advance. Most likely, the Aloi installation team has already completed the kind of training and experience you require.
